Cryogenic vacuum deposited films of nitrous oxide were studied at the following conditions: a mirror-like silver-coated copper substrate; deposition temperature 16 K; gas phase pressure during deposition 10<^>-3 Pa. Analysis of the IR-spectrometric and thermodesorption data leads to the following conclusion. The transition from the amorphous to crystalline state in the vicinity of 40 K proceeds in several steps which reflect relaxation processes related to different molecular vibrations. The differences in the temperature intervals of the transitions are determined by the activation energies of relevant vibrations. It was shown that cryocondensation at 16 K is accompanied by appearance of flashes on the condensate surface. Based on the uniform nature of the observed processes, a model based on several possible isomorphic molecular states of nitrous oxide is suggested.

Nowadays natural gas hydrates attract special attention as a possible source of fossil fuel. According to various estimates, the reserves of hydrocarbons in hydrates exceed considerably explored reserves of natural gas. Due to the clathrate structure the unit volume of the gas hydrate can contain up to 160 - 180 volumes of pure gas. In recent years interest to a problem of gas hydrates has considerably increased. Such changes are connected with the progress in searches of the alternative sources of hydrocarbonic raw materials in countries that do not possess the resources of energy carriers. Thus gas hydrates are nonconventional sources of the hydrocarbonic raw materials which can be developed in the near future. At the same time, mechanisms of methane clathrate hydrates formations have not reached an advanced level, their thermophysical and mechanical properties have not been investigated profoundly. Thereby our experimental modeling of the processes of formation of methane clathrate hydrates in water cryomatrix prepared by co-condensation from the gas phase onto a cooled substrate was carried out over the range of condensation temperatures 12 - 60 K and pressures 10<^>-4 - 10<^>-6 Torr. In our experiments the concentration of methane in water varied in the range of 5 - 90 %. The thickness deposited films was 30 - 60 mum. The vibrational spectra of two-component thin films of CH4 + H2O condensates were measured and analyzed.

The results of modeling of isotopic water mixture clusters in nitrogen and argon cryomatrices are presented. Earlier, our experimental studies of water mixture in cryomatrix have shown that changes in the concentration of analyte in matrix leads to a splitting of the absorption bands characteristic frequencies of the molecules in the IR spectrum. Moreover the multiplicity of characteristic absorption bands in the IR spectrum remained unchanged during heating of the samples from the condensation temperature to the sublimation temperature of the matrix element. In order to find out what structure of clusters is responsible for the immutability of the absorption bands in the vibrational spectrum during thermal cycling of the samples, computer research of water molecules enclosed in nitrogen and argon cryomatrices by the molecular dynamics simulation was conducted. For this purpose, theoretical studies were carried out using computer software packages, that implement used by us semi empirical and ab initio molecular dynamics methods. As a result of the research, the data must be obtained are of theoretical interest for summarizing the physical and chemical properties of systems, consisting of water molecules, and their combination with inert gases for studying the properties of molecular crystals composed of small molecules.

We report new results in the study of cryoradiation accompanying the condensation of some gas. The main objectives of this research are: check a broader range of substances for their ability to cryoradiation; the study of the nature of radiation and its relaxation characteristics; the study of thermally stimulated processes in condensed samples. Of the compounds tested only nitrous oxide and ethanol exhibited the ability to generate cryoradiation during condensation from the gas phase. Separate flashes detected by a photomultiplier represent a superposition of a series of successive relaxation processes of individual regions, somehow related to each other. It is possible that such areas are crystallites containing a set of molecules of nitrous oxide/ethanol, which are in metastable states with different activation energies. Radiation by these molecules during the transition into the ground state induces successive relaxation processes of molecular groups according to their activation energy distributions. Nonequilibrium radiative states forming in the process of cryocondensation of nitrous oxide and ethanol may have different nature of the activation energy distribution and this could explain the difference in the character of the radiation relaxation in these substances.

The complex of procedures on stepwise carrying out actions of standardization and certification of liquid nitrogen, argon and oxygen gasificator G-200 is considered. In the process of organization of standardization and certification procedures the set of regulatory documents was developed that allow starting small-scale production of gasificators in Kazakhstan. Thus the emphasis on the potential incorporation of the requirements of such documents is placed from the Eurasian Economic Union.

Experimental studies of the effect of methane condensation temperature on the value of the refractive index and density of the resulting thin films are reported. The main unit of the installation is a high-vacuum chamber, which routinely operates at 10<^>-8 - 10<^>-6 Torr. Measurements using a two-beam He - Ne laser interferometer in thevicinity of the methane phase transition temperature T = 20,4 K in the range of 14 - 32 K were carried out. It has been shown that in the vicinity of T = 20 K the temperature dependence of the refractive index undergoes an abrupt decrease with decreasing temperature. It is assumed that this gap is the result of the phase transition from the orientational disordered phase (<$E alpha>-phase) to the partially ordered phase (<$E beta>-phase) of solid methane. The calculations of the polarizability of the methane molecules in the solid phase at two values of the deposition temperature T = 16 K and T = 30 K were performed using the Lorentz - Lorenz equation.

This paper presents results of an experimental study of the dependence of deposition temperature on the refractive in dices of ethanol, methane and nitrous oxide, in the form of cryovacuum deposited thin films, in the vicinity of their structural transformation temperatures. The measurements were made using a two-beam laser interferometer in the temperature range 14 - 130 K. The refractive indices of ethanol, methane and nitrous oxide demonstrate clear non-monotonic dependence on deposition temperature in the vicinity of their structural phase transformation temperatures. It is speculated that the observed abrupt changes in the refractive indices are due to a difference in the number of translational and rotational degrees of freedom of the molecules existing in different phase states of these cryocrystals.
